The Office of Attorney Ethics of the Supreme Court of New Jersey has regional fee arbitration committees. Selected members serve for a four year terms pursuant to the Order of Chief Justice Rabner of the New Jersey Supreme Court. Ari H. Gourvitz was selected to serve on the committee which arbitrates fee disputes whether initiated by the attorney or the client. The Supreme Court relies on volunteers to provide clients and attorneys with an inexpensive, fast, and confidential method of resolving fee disputes. This is a completely volunteer and non-paying obligation which Ari H. Gourvitz has elected as one of the means to serve the State Bar and the community. Mr. Gourvitz’s term began September 1, 2018.
